I love the party conventions. It’s our first real opportunity to see some of the new and old voices representing the right and left of U.S. politics. One of my most poignant memories was seeing and hearing a young Barack Obama speak at his first convention in 2004… if you listened to him, you likely had a feeling you’d live to see his inauguration day.
In addition to all the pomp and glamour, the conventions also open up some great opportunities for discussion. A piece I contributed to Parent.co just went up today highlighting the importance of conversation and debate when raising kids. We’re talking less and less these days… and our kids are taking note.
Would love your thoughts! And of course, feel free to disagree!
